Returns
All items are sold in "as is" condition. Buyer assumes all liability for any purchased items and no refunds will be given. DePaul University makes no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the completeness, kind, character, or quality of any of the property, or its fitness for any use or purpose.
Item Pick-Up (after purchase)
All items purchased must be picked up for 55 E Jackson Blvd, Floor 19, within 14 days
of purchase. Items that are not picked up after 14 days will be re-listed for sale on the DePaul Salvage Store. No refund will be issued to the buyer.
The Purchaser agrees that DePaul University shall not be liable for personal injuries to the Purchaser, the Purchaser’s employees, or to any other person arising from or incident to the purchase of this item, its use, or disposition. The Purchaser shall hold DePaul University harmless from any or all debts, liabilities, judgments, costs, demands, suits, actions, or claims of any nature arising from or incident to the resale of this item.
Once an item has been purchased, it is the responsibility of the buyer to physically remove the item from the building. If the item is very large or heavy, the buyer should bring additional help (people, carts, etc). DePaul University does not provide assistance with moving items.
Items should be picked up between 9:00am and 5:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only.
Warranty
All items are sold "as is" and do not come with any manufacturers warranty.
Purchasing with PayPal
All monetary transactions are processed by PayPal and are bound by their existing
User Agreement for PayPal Service. To view this agreement visit the following:
PayPal User Agreement. Payments can be made via [bank account, paypal account or credit card]. Items may not be picked up until the payment has cleared (for instance, if you pay using your bank account, it may take up to 5 - 7 days for the payment to transfer).
